Many people who feel that their partner is cheating try to take matters into their own hands and end up making things far worse.
Would you ever attempt to operate on yourself if you needed surgery, or would you only allow a surgeon to perform such a specialized task? Sure, you could probably Google it and attempt to remove your appendix, but in the process, you could make matters far worse (i.e., bleeding to death, infection, etc.).
So then why would you ever feel like you can successfully investigate your possible cheating partner?
Some people begin snooping around and end up getting caught, thus making matters worse. The chances are that if you attempt to access your partner’s phone, s/he will notice that you have done so; then, you have a lot of explaining to do. Those who try to access their partner’s cell phones have not really thought it through.
Okay, let’s suppose that you were able to bypass his/her password successfully; then what? What are you really going to find? At best you might find a somewhat incriminating text, chat, email, pictures. You know what’s going to happen next. You are going to confront her/him and s/he is going to provide you a partial truth and then flip it around on you and make you out to be the bad guy for violating his/her privacy. S/he will make you believe that you are crazy, and it was innocent flirtation; s/he will convince you that it wasn’t physical, that s/he never “hooked up.”
Other people may then try to put a tracking device on their partner’s vehicle but soon learn it was a mistake. Devices are either placed on the inside of the car or the outside of the vehicle. If on the outside there is a high probability it will either become dislodged and fall off of the vehicle, or worse yet, it will become discovered. If your partner gets a flat tire, an oil change, or vehicle maintenance there is a high likelihood that the auto mechanic will locate it. If it’s on the inside of the vehicle, due to vibrations of the roadway, the device will work its way free and fall on the floor, begin to squeak or make noise, or the electronic frequency will cause interference with the vehicle’s sound system raising suspicion and then detection.
Supposing none of that happened, you will find that it will become obsessive; you will literally be looking at the app all day and night instead of taking care of your responsibilities. Even if you see that your partner is not where s/he is supposed to be, you still will not know what s/he is actually doing. Often, a cheater will meet his/her boy/girlfriend in a parking lot, then get out of his/her vehicle and get into the other person’s car and drive somewhere secluded. So, in essence, you will realize that you took a significant risk for no reward because you still have no idea what s/he is doing at the location.
Some people take it a step further and attempt to surveil/follow their partner. Nine times out of every ten times, you will get caught by your partner; s/he will notice you within a short period of time and/or distance. Most Private Investigators get caught because they are not surveillance specialists like “Private Investigators PA” is.
In other words, most investigation companies are one-man operations who offer an array of investigation services to the public; meaning they may provide Subpoena Services, Interview and Witness Statement Services, Accident Investigations, Insurance Investigations, and maybe every once in a while, they may conduct a surveillance.
There are two things to realize. First, it doesn’t take long to become rusty, meaning, if you are not doing surveillance every day, then just within a matter of days, the investigator will not be sharp, resulting in mistakes and poor judgment that result in detection.
Secondly, 98% of the Investigation companies in New Jersey and Pennsylvania hold what is referred to as an “Individual License,” meaning they are a one-person operation. Those companies should know better than to ever attempt surveillance by themselves; however, at your expense, they will go ahead and try to follow your partner, and just in a few miles s/he will look in the vehicle’s mirrors and notice the tail.
Whereas, Surveillance Specialists such as “Private Investigators PA” deploys a team of investigators who work together at the same time but from separate vehicles.
So inexperienced and 1-man companies get caught, then you have to expect your partner will indeed detect you if you make the mistake of trying to follow him/her. Also, people don’t think about the risks of following someone. If you crash into another vehicle because you were so focused on your partner’s vehicle that the tunnel vision prohibited you from noticing traffic signals/devices/signs or motorists, pedestrians, or bicyclists. If you ever hit someone, you would face Criminal Charges and Civil Lawsuits. God forbid, if you ever hurt someone, you might live a lifetime of overwhelming guilt.
Even if you successfully obtained investigative evidence via your surveillance, not only would it not be admissible in court, you could and likely will face criminal charges for harassment. You need a license to conduct an investigation; you need a license to follow someone. Hiring a licensed investigation company will ensure that you can utilize the investigative findings in court. If they find out that you, who doesn’t hold a license, obtained investigative proofs, your soon to be ex’s attorney will object to the admissibility of the finding. Meaning, you would not be permitted to introduce your conclusions because you were not licensed to investigate. Also, you better believe that your soon to be ex’s attorney will instruct her/him to go to the police department and file a criminal complaint for harassment and the apply for a Temporary Restraining Order against you. Then the police will serve the TRO at your home or workplace and remove all your firearms from your home.
When you confront and accuse your partner of cheating without hard-core visual proof s/he will tell you:
- You are crazy
- You are nuts
- You are f’ed up
- You need help
S/he will deny the circumstantial evidence and never tell you the truth. So, all you did and are doing is making him/her a smarter cheater because you are telling him/her the mistakes s/he is making, and now those mistakes will be corrected. If you get caught snooping, you will make matters worse because now s/he knows you are catching on, and now s/he will become more guarded and careful.
There is only one thing that will end the lies and provide you with the closure you need to move on; that is video and photographic evidence.
